What is the main difference? Mello Pure is made entirely from wool. Mello Blend combines Merino wool with recycled nylon. We publish the composition clearly so you can choose the material you prefer.

Is 100% Merino wool better than a Merino blend?
Neither composition is universally better. Mello Pure is the choice for an all-wool garment. Mello Blend is the choice for shoppers who prefer Merino combined with recycled nylon. Fit, care and personal preference still matter.
What does GSM mean in Merino clothing?
GSM means grams per square metre and describes fabric weight. A lower number usually indicates a lighter fabric, but GSM alone does not determine warmth, softness, opacity or durability.
Why does Mello Blend contain recycled nylon?
Mello Blend contains 12% recycled nylon within its Merino fabric. Its exact yarn construction and comparative performance are being documented, so Mello Wool does not claim a specific durability advantage without supporting test results.
What does RWS mean?
RWS stands for Responsible Wool Standard, a voluntary Textile Exchange standard covering animal welfare, land management, social requirements and chain of custody. Product claims should be supported by certification documents that apply to the material and supply chain.
Is all Merino wool itch-free?
No textile can be guaranteed itch-free for everyone. Fibre diameter, yarn, fabric construction, finishing and individual skin sensitivity can all affect how a garment feels.
Does Merino wool need washing after every wear?
Often it does not. Wool generally retains less odour than many common apparel fibres, and airing it between wears may reduce unnecessary washing. Always follow the care label.
